The Vision
"Warmth first. Glamour second. Always in that order."
The brief for this Southlake home was rooted in feeling — holiday design that felt like the family who lived there. Warm, layered, and quietly luxurious. No cold whites, no stark silvers. Everything in champagne, ivory, and gold, lit from within by firelight and the glow of a hundred ornaments.
The Vignettes
The details that make a room.
The coffee table became the room's quiet anchor — a row of gold deer snow globes and mercury glass trees arranged on a white faux fur runner, the lit fireplace and staircase tree framing the scene beyond. The mirrored console, the crystal lamp, the velvet sectional — nothing was moved. Everything was dressed. Each vignette was composed like a still life: intentional, unhurried, and completely at home.
The Living Room
"A room that already knew how to hold the holidays."
The open living room with its warm oak floors, iron accents, and stone fireplace was the ideal canvas. The full-width sectional, the layered rugs, the natural light from the tall windows — the space had warmth built in. Our work was to amplify it: the garland, the tree, the mantel, the vignettes all speaking the same language of champagne and gold.
The Mantel
Gold above the flame.
Above the limestone fireplace, a mosaic mirror wall of gold-framed squares caught every flicker of candlelight and threw it back across the room. The mantel itself was styled with gold pine cones, mercury glass candle holders, a crystal giraffe figurine, and a single glittered branch — restrained, intentional, and completely at home in the space. The garland below it was fresh, fragrant, and full.
The Tree
A couture tree for a couture home.
The staircase tree was the installation's signature — a full, lush design in ivory and champagne gold. Oversized white velvet roses, lace-embossed ornaments, glitter ribbon in wide cascading loops, frosted pine cones, and gold mesh balls. At the crown, gilded branches reached upward like a winter garden in full bloom. Every element was hand-placed, every ribbon loop hand-formed, every ornament chosen for its relationship to the one beside it.
The Result
A home that felt like the holidays had always lived there.
